PINOCCHIO
(Family Pantomime)
Join Sparks Dramatic Society for a magical new family adventure as Pinocchio comes to Hyde Festival Theatre!
Packed with laughter, music, dazzling costumes, audience participation and plenty of pantomime magic, this brand-new production brings the timeless story of the world's most famous wooden puppet to life in a way the whole family will love.
When the kind-hearted woodcarver Geppetto wishes upon a star for a child of his own, his dream comes true as his puppet Pinocchio magically springs to life. But becoming a real boy isn't as easy as it seems...
Guided by the lovable Fairy Bumblewink and the ever-enthusiastic Tinklet Bumblewink, Pinocchio sets off on an unforgettable journey filled with exciting adventures, valuable life lessons and colourful characters. Along the way he encounters the cheerful Mr Hopper, the hilarious Dingle family, and the delightfully eccentric Lady Claws and Lady Paws, who all help (or sometimes hinder!) his quest.
Standing in his way are the wonderfully wicked Count Snivelrot, Countess Snivelrot, their mischievous daughters Sinistra, Malice and Snarla Snivelrot, who have their own devious plans for Pinocchio. Can Pinocchio outsmart the villains, learn the true meaning of honesty, kindness and bravery, and prove himself worthy of becoming a real boy?
Featuring spectacular musical numbers, energetic dance routines, magical special effects and all the traditional pantomime fun you expect, Pinocchio promises a heartwarming adventure full of comedy, excitement and unforgettable moments.
Performed by our talented adult and child cast, this production showcases the incredible community spirit of Sparks Dramatic Society, bringing together performers of all ages to create an entertaining theatrical experience for audiences young and old.
Whether you're shouting "He's behind you!", booing the villains, cheering on the heroes or singing along, Pinocchio is the perfect festive family treat and a magical celebration of imagination, friendship and believing in yourself.

SNOW SHI*E AND THE SEVEN...
(Adult Pantomime)
Leave the kids at home... this fairy tale is definitely not for them!
Mirror, mirror on the wall... who's the naughtiest of them all?
Following the success of our award-winning productions, Sparks Dramatic Society proudly presents Snow Shite & The Seven... (Well, let's just say it rhymes with "doors"!) — a brand-new, laugh-out-loud 18+ adult pantomime packed with outrageous comedy, cheeky innuendo and absolutely no filter!
Our innocent heroine Snow Shite dreams of finding true love, but life in the kingdom is anything but fairy tale perfection. With the glamorous (and permanently hormonal) Miranda Menopaws causing chaos, the mysterious Medicated Mirror dispensing questionable advice, and the delightfully unhinged Oracle Schlong predicting disasters around every corner, Snow's life is about to become wonderfully ridiculous.
Meanwhile, the charming Prince Clap is desperate to rescue his true love. Throw in the flamboyant evil guards Brandon Bishop, the ever-resourceful Benji Bender, and a kingdom full of outrageous personalities, and you've got all the ingredients for an evening of non-stop laughs.
When Snow flees into the forest, she stumbles upon a household unlike any you've ever met. Forget sleepy little miners—this bunch are loud, proud and completely inappropriate! From Sluttie, Dirtie and Filthie to Bootie, Bustie, Analmi, Fannie, and the unforgettable Dicks in Me the Pixie, every encounter is more outrageous than the last.
Lurking in the shadows is the fearsome King Khlamydia, whose plans threaten to ruin everyone's happily ever after.
Featuring side-splitting comedy, outrageous parody songs, hilarious audience participation, quick-fire one-liners and enough double entendres to make your nan blush, Snow Shite & The Seven... delivers everything you'd expect from a traditional pantomime—only dirtier, louder and strictly for grown-ups.
Written by Steven Oliver-Grant, this brand-new adults-only pantomime takes the classic fairy tale and gives it a gloriously rude makeover, packed with clever wordplay, topical humour and a cast of unforgettable characters. Whether you're a regular panto fan or just fancy a night of unapologetic adult comedy, you're guaranteed an evening filled with belly laughs, outrageous antics and moments you'll be talking about long after you've left the theatre.
Please note: This production is strictly for audiences aged 18 and over. It contains strong language, adult humour, sexual references and themes throughout. If you enjoy cheeky comedy, outrageous characters and a festive night out with friends, this is the pantomime you've been waiting for.
Performance Dates
- 9th December 2026 – BSL Interpreted Performance
- 10th–12th December 2026 – Evening performances

Home is Where the Heart Hurts
Home Is Where the Heart Hurts was a moving, honest play that explored love, friendship, loyalty, and the complicated idea of “home.” Through the lives of Ben, Alice, Jay, John, and those around them, the story shone a light on the bonds that held us together — and the wounds that quietly shaped us.
The play thoughtfully explored real-life issues including domestic violence, alcoholism, prescription drug misuse, and emotionally abusive relationships, offering a raw but compassionate look at how these experiences affected individuals and families. It was deeply human, sometimes uncomfortable, but ultimately rooted in empathy and understanding.
A gentle note for our audience: Some of the themes and moments may have felt close to home. While the story was told with care, honesty, and sensitivity, it may have been emotionally challenging for some viewers. It contained strong language and adult themes.
For those who were looking for theatre that was brave, heartfelt, and unapologetically real, we were delighted to have shared this journey with you.

Rumpel4Skin
(The Adult Pantomime)
You’d seen the family version… then it was time to RUIN IT!
Following on from the previous year’s Rumpelstiltskin, we returned with a filthy twist in Rumpel4skin – the panto that was bursting with bad behaviour, bawdy jokes, and more sass than you could shake a magic wand at.
Audiences could expect foul language, mild nudity, and enough sexual innuendo to make your nan blush (in her end, tho!). It was panto as you’d never seen it before – chaotic, camp, and completely unhinged.
Strictly for ages 18+ – absolutely no prudes, bigots or homophobes were welcome. If you were easily offended, it definitely wasn’t the show for you.
Those who grabbed their mates, grabbed a drink, and joined us were treated to a night of pure, unfiltered panto mayhem!
